This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Transform complex and high-value challenges faced by enterprise customers into structured workflows with defined success criteria and evaluation methods.
β’ Develop, construct, and deploy LLM-powered agents capable of reasoning, planning, and operating across various tools, APIs, and sensitive enterprise data sources.
β’ Create and launch features for North, Cohere's AI workspace platform, managing the entire product lifecycle from initial concept to production.
β’ Take ownership of and refine use cases from start to finish, collaborating across technical domains including frontend when necessary.
β’ Contribute to shared frameworks and methodologies to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery for customers and teams alike.
β’ Provide clarity in uncertain situations, foster alignment, and enhance engineering quality across the organization.
β’ Travel 20β40% of the time to collaborate on-site with customers and partners.
β’ Active DV clearance is strongly preferred.
β’ Practical experience in building and deploying production-level software using Python.
β’ Capability to write clean, testable, observable, and scalable code.
β’ Experience in building and deploying high-performance RAG and agentic applications.
β’ Familiarity with agents that plan and carry out multi-step tasks using methodologies such as ReAct or Plan-and-Execute.
β’ Profound understanding of frontier models, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks.
β’ Demonstrated ability to create robust evaluation frameworks that measure agent accuracy, safety, and latency.
β’ Experience interacting directly with customers and leading technical discussions with enterprise stakeholders.
β’ Skill in translating vague business requirements into precise technical specifications.
β’ Experience managing the complete scope of a use case from beginning to end.
β’ Ability to excel in fast-paced and ambiguous environments while navigating shifting priorities.
β’ Experience in setting architectural standards for AI and agentic systems across distributed teams is advantageous.
β’ Flexibility to adapt into unfamiliar technical areas, such as frontend, is a plus.
β’ Exposure to regulated or sensitive industry environments is an added benefit.
β’ Experience with enterprise security, compliance, or auditability requirements for AI systems is a plus.
β’ Must reside in the UK or be planning to relocate there.
β’ Eligibility for Active DV clearance is required.
