Forensic Structural Engineer, PE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough forensic investigations related to structural damage, defects, failures, moisture intrusion, premises liability claims, and roofing issues.

• Execute site inspections and collect pertinent data for forensic evaluation.

• Utilize engineering principles and methodologies to examine and evaluate structural concerns.

• Create clear and concise technical reports that detail findings and conclusions.

• Provide expert testimony in legal matters when necessary.

• Remain updated on industry trends, codes, and standards relevant to structural engineering.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).

• Forensic engineering experience is preferred.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines.

• Experience with providing expert testimony in legal cases is advantageous.

• U.S. Persons Only: U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. lawful permanent residents, individuals granted refugee status, or individuals granted asylum in the United States.

• Must be willing to support cases in the Philadelphia, PA area.

• Travel may be required up to 25%.
