This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +13 more states.
• Formulate and implement collaborative growth and profitability strategies with the strategic distributor.
• Propel private label development, market share growth, customer engagement, and category enhancement.
• Recognize valuable opportunities within independent food service operators, regional and national chains, multi-unit accounts, and local market segments.
• Convert strategic priorities into actionable sales initiatives, resource allocations, marketing programs, and execution expectations.
• Negotiate key priorities, investments, and program support utilizing financial analysis and ROI principles.
• Set performance benchmarks, track KPIs, and foster shared accountability.
• Act as the primary point of contact and senior customer-facing leader for the distributor relationship.
• Facilitate business reviews, planning sessions, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with distributor leadership and field teams to enhance territory coverage, lead conversion, customer interaction, and execution.
• Recruit, hire, nurture, coach, and oversee a high-performing sales team.
• Oversee revenue, profitability, pipeline health, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and sales performance.
• Utilize Salesforce.com and business reporting tools to enhance opportunity visibility, account health, execution, and forecast accuracy.
• Partner with sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, pricing, customer service, and operations teams.
• Direct customer-specific marketing initiatives, sales campaigns, product projects, and joint business commitments.
• Develop expertise in institutional cleaning, food service sanitation, warewash, laundry, and front-of-house cleaning categories.
• Conduct performance assessments and continuously enhance playbooks, training, reporting, and field execution strategies.
• Manage Salesforce updates, expense reporting, pricing coordination, development plans, budgets, and issue resolution.
• Address pricing, delivery, supply, inventory, service, and account health challenges.
• Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, pricing policies, inventory expectations, and internal protocols.
• Experience in food service, distribution management, or closely related sectors.
• Comprehension of how to stimulate growth through distributor partnerships.
• Proven history of recruiting, hiring, developing, managing performance, coaching, and inspiring sales teams.
• Demonstrated capability to create, align, and implement joint business plans with strategic customers or distribution partners.
• Strong aptitude for acting as the primary representative to the customer, fostering trust, aligning priorities, and establishing shared accountability.
• Experience in training, supporting, and motivating distributor sales representatives to expand non-food categories.
• Proficient in aligning internal teams across sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, pricing, and operations.
• Ability to manage pricing, delivery, supply, CRM updates, forecasting, reporting, and other essential processes.
• Willingness and ability to travel overnight.
• Capability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to confidently operate and demonstrate cleaning equipment.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Meets all mobility requirements for the role.
