This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +1 more country.
• Formulate and implement a strategy for market expansion within the UK Food & Beverage sector.
• Discover and secure new customer opportunities in food manufacturing, processing, packaging, logistics, distribution, and retail supply chains.
• Drive new business acquisition through direct outreach, networking, and engagement within the industry.
• Establish a pipeline that supports annual growth targets.
• Convert competitor accounts to enhance DNV's market presence.
• Foster trusted relationships with decision-makers in the Food & Beverage sector.
• Create account plans and prioritize key strategic prospects.
• Strengthen existing customer relationships through certification, training, and assurance services.
• Promote customer retention via proactive engagement and development of long-term partnerships.
• Serve as DNV's commercial representative in the Food & Beverage market.
• Provide market insights and customer intelligence to inform business planning and service development.
• Represent DNV at industry events, exhibitions, conferences, and trade associations.
• Cultivate relationships with consultants, industry organizations, and key influencers.
• Assist in sector-specific marketing and lead-generation efforts.
• Maintain the sales pipeline and oversee opportunity progression using CRM systems.
• Deliver precise forecasting and reporting.
• Be accountable for revenue, activity, and growth objectives.
• Collaborate with Planning, Customer Service, Technical Experts, and Strategic Account teams.
• Ensure a smooth transition from sales to service delivery.
• Share knowledge and best practices related to the Food & Beverage market across the organization.
• Demonstrated experience in business development or sales within the Food & Beverage sector.
• Proven history of securing new business and cultivating customer relationships.
• Familiarity with selling consultative, technical, or professional services.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capabilities.
• Exceptional presentation, communication, and networking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and stakeholders concurrently.
• Self-driven with a proactive approach towards market development.
• Experience in certification, assurance, auditing, food safety, sustainability, or compliance services (preferred).
• Knowledge of BRCGS, FSSC 22000, or Supplier Assurance Programs (preferred).
• Established network within the UK Food & Beverage industry (preferred).
• Understanding of sustainability, supply chain assurance, and ESG-related requirements (preferred).
• Must be eligible to work in the UK or Ireland as the position is based in either location.
• Background checks will be performed on final candidates.
