This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
• Provide temporary administrative support to various medical practices during staffing shortages.
• Quickly adjust to different providers, workflows, software systems, and operational procedures.
• Adhere to appointment scheduling guidelines and provider preferences.
• Assist with insurance workflows, referral processes, and prior authorization tasks.
• Follow patient communication protocols, telephone scripts, and escalation guidelines.
• Maintain standards for internal documentation.
• Navigate Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems efficiently.
• Review and comply with client-specific documentation, SOPs, operational manuals, and daily checklists.
• Undergo expedited onboarding for each new assignment.
• Examine client documentation and provide temporary coverage until the designated employee returns.
• Candidates must be based in LATAM.
• Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience required.
• Must possess your own device and headset.
• High-speed internet connection must be at least 100 MB.
• Prior experience with U.S.-based medical offices is essential.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is a must.
• Ability to quickly adapt to various medical practices, providers, workflows, and operational protocols.
• Willingness to continuously learn and transition between different client environments.
• Capability to learn and navigate various EMR systems and software platforms.
• Understand and follow scheduling rules, insurance workflows, referral processes, prior authorization procedures, and patient communication protocols.
• Ability to adhere to telephone scripts, escalation procedures, and internal documentation standards.
• Capable of reviewing and following SOPs, operational guides, and daily checklists.
• Effectively work through an accelerated onboarding process.
• Previous experience in medical offices is preferred.
• Familiarity with Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Nextech, HealthArc, EMA, or other proprietary systems is advantageous.
• Own device and headset are mandatory for work.
• High-speed internet connection of at least 100 MB is required.
• Comprehensive client documentation, structured onboarding, and continuous support during the initial phases of each assignment.
