This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Assign aircraft to designated trips.
• Oversee daily fleet operations and aircraft positioning.
• Enhance aircraft routing and usage efficiency.
• Recognize potential scheduling conflicts and operational hazards.
• Adjust schedules as operational requirements change.
• Monitor the availability and readiness of aircraft.
• Track maintenance occurrences and operational interruptions.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Control regarding aircraft conditions.
• Aid in recovery planning during irregular operations.
• Work alongside Operations, Crew Scheduling, and Maintenance Control to facilitate trip execution.
• Relay schedule modifications and aircraft assignments.
• Support recovery initiatives arising from maintenance, weather, or operational disruptions.
• Keep precise fleet data updated within Jet Insight.
• Ensure proper documentation of aircraft assignments and schedule updates.
• Engage in departmental projects and process enhancements.
• Previous experience in Part 135 charter aviation, ideally in flight operations, dispatch, fleet scheduling, or a similar operational role.
• Familiarity with aircraft movements, positioning, utilization, and operational limitations in a commercial aviation setting.
• Experience in coordinating aircraft schedules, monitoring fleet performance, or assisting with day-of operational execution.
• Proficient in aviation scheduling and operational software, including JetInsight, Avinode, or equivalent platforms.
• Capability to interpret evolving operational information and adapt aircraft assignments or schedules as necessary.
• Strong computer proficiency and ability to maintain precise, timely operational data and documentation.
• Willingness to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs.
• Ability to clearly, promptly, and professionally communicate aircraft assignments, schedule changes, operational risks, and necessary actions.
• Skill in identifying scheduling conflicts and operational disruptions, assessing available options, and formulating practical solutions.
• Competence in managing multiple aircraft, trips, schedule changes, and competing operational demands while ensuring accuracy and meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
• Aptitude to respond effectively to changing aircraft availability, maintenance events, weather conditions, and other operational changes.
• Capacity to make timely aircraft-assignment and scheduling decisions and escalate significant risks when necessary.
