This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee localization projects across various sizes, genres, and platforms.
• Estimate and strategize project timelines from inception to completion, including contingencies.
• Document and revise project workflows and technical procedures.
• Lead project planning sessions, kick-off meetings, and ongoing discussions related to the project.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to fully understand project scope and requirements.
• Provide clients with guidance on best practices, processes, and timelines.
• Monitor and coordinate production, quality assurance, risk management, corrective and preventive actions, resource allocation, and post-project evaluations.
• Coordinate project resource allocation with the Global Resource Management Team.
• Manage schedules, work plans, resources, quality, profitability, and timely delivery.
• Maintain daily communication with clients regarding issues, specification modifications, deadlines, and project-related matters.
• Serve as a liaison between external vendors and internal resources.
• Cultivate relationships with global project management teams.
• Make autonomous decisions while adhering to company and client standards.
• Engage with clients to understand their objectives, expectations, needs, and concerns.
• Escalate and investigate any complaints and project risks.
• Participate in initiatives for process and tool enhancements.
• Enter financial data related to sales and purchasing for invoicing, cost management, and quoting.
• Track project expenses, profit margins, forecasts, quotes, work in progress, accruals, and pre-invoice verifications.
• Manage vendor cost estimates and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Guarantee project sustainability, budget compliance, profitability, quality, and client retention.
• Maintain precise and comprehensive project reporting data.
• Assist new team members and aid in the development of training plans.
• Take ownership of personal learning and training requirements.
• Experience in the video games and/or localization sectors, whether on the client or vendor side.
• A degree in Business, Audio, Translation, Computer Science, or Game Development is preferable.
• Familiarity with production and/or CAT tools is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of PC and MS Office applications.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of a second language is advantageous.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively using sound judgment.
• Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
• Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a remote, fast-paced, and complex global setting.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
• Motivation and capability to work collaboratively within a team.
