This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, standardize, and implement technical integrations that connect direct partnerships to the Bank’s technological framework.
• Direct the integration architecture across the Bank’s core platform, APIs, file-based interfaces, and payment systems.
• Formulate integration designs, data mappings, solution documentation, technical specifications, onboarding playbooks, and integration checklists.
• Establish standardized integration patterns, file formats, delivery methods, naming conventions, and validation standards.
• Manage partner connectivity, testing, validation, implementation plans, timelines, dependencies, and UAT cycles.
• Oversee the complete technical onboarding and implementation process from planning integration to achieving go-live readiness and launch.
• Coordinate third-party risk assessments and account structuring tasks.
• Facilitate ACH, wire, RTP, and FedNow payment-rail enablement.
• Assist in partnership opportunities through technical feasibility assessments, business cases, and deal structuring.
• Act as the ongoing relationship manager for assigned partnerships and conduct business reviews.
• Represent Stearns Bank at selected industry conferences and events.
• Perform ongoing oversight with Compliance, BSA, and Risk teams.
• Provide guidance to partners on integration, compliance, operations, and growth expectations.
• Support banking initiatives for cannabis-related businesses and other high-risk industries.
• Collaborate with BSA/AML teams regarding FinCEN guidance, SAR filing procedures, enhanced due diligence, and state licensing verification.
• Track regulatory developments in cannabis banking and high-risk industries.
• Assist in partnership development within the Salaam Banking Division as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, technology, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in banking, fintech, or financial services, covering implementation, solutions/integration, program management, or partnership roles.
• Proven capability to design or manage technical integrations, including file-based interfaces, APIs, or data exchanges.
• Ability to lead integration discussions with technical stakeholders, with a clear path toward owning integration architecture.
• Quick to gain proficiency in new technology environments and translate that knowledge into partner-facing solutions and standards.
• Familiarity with BSA/AML, KYC, third-party risk management, and payment concepts relevant to bank partnership programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining technical and regulatory concepts to varied audiences.
• Self-driven, organized, and capable of managing multiple concurrent partnerships and implementations.
• Proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel as required, estimated at 15–25%.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.
• Capability to sit for extended periods and perform the specified physical activities.
• Required to have close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision, with the ability to adjust focus.
