FinTech Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Assist clients in onboarding their data onto LeaseQuery and FinQuery Contract Management (FCM).

• Act as the technical resource for integrating clients into FCM.

• Manage Professional Service requests across LeaseQuery and FCM.

• Collaborate with CFOs, Controllers, and accounting personnel on accounting standards and contract management practices.

• Review lease and contract documents to ensure precise data entry.

• Aid clients with data procurement and upload completed data.

• Reconcile account balances, including prepaids and accruals, and provide recommendations on adjustments.

• Offer product expertise in Journal Entries, Reporting, and Data Entry.

• Train clients on LeaseQuery and FCM functionalities.

• Facilitate communication among teams and clients to ensure timely execution of complex financial projects.

• Conduct business in alignment with FinQuery's policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with lease accounting guidelines (ASC 842, IFRS 16, GASB 87, and GASB 96).

• Knowledge of contract lifecycle management principles and the accounting treatment of prepaids and accruals.

• Capability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities while working independently with minimal guidance in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Advanced customer service competencies.

• Proficient in Salesforce, MS Office, and G-Suite applications.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.

• 1-3 years of combined experience in accounting/finance and customer-facing/client service roles.
