This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.
β’ Develop and sustain financial models for potential fintech clients, encompassing deposit balances, Net Interest Income (NII), and fee revenue forecasts.
β’ Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses based on client ramp-up, interest rate environments, and volume growth assumptions.
β’ Assess new client onboarding economics against current vertical benchmarks to guide deal structuring and pricing strategies.
β’ Evaluate post-launch client profitability, identifying margin compression, pricing challenges, and adverse trends.
β’ Propose pricing modifications or contract renegotiations in collaboration with Account Management.
β’ Track portfolio KPIs to pinpoint outliers and emerging risks.
β’ Assist in monthly fintech performance reporting, executive presentations, and materials for board and Investment Committee meetings.
β’ Aid in budget tracking, variance analysis, and monthly/quarterly closing activities.
β’ Maintain continuous NII and deposit forecasts.
β’ Create precise materials for senior leadership and board-level assessments.
β’ Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Finance, Treasury, Data teams, and senior leadership throughout the client lifecycle.
β’ Articulate financial analyses effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related quantitative discipline.
β’ 2β3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, banking, or a similar analytical role.
β’ Advanced proficiency in Excel, including skills in SUMIFS, pivot tables, financial modeling, and sensitivity/scenario analysis.
β’ Expertise in PowerPoint for producing reports aimed at executives and board members.
β’ Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, particularly in modeling deposit balances and interest income.
β’ Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in critical financial reporting.
β’ Clear written and verbal communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
β’ Capability to independently manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines.
β’ Familiarity with the banking, payments, or fintech sectors, including deposit and interest rate dynamics.
β’ Experience with SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools.
β’ Previous involvement in Investment Committee or board reporting processes.
