Financial Wellness Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate and non-judgmental financial counseling to clients across the nation.

• Assist clients dealing with credit card debt, mortgage issues, and collection matters.

• Provide education, guidance, and tailored action plans to suit individual needs.

• Conduct financial counseling services primarily via phone.

• Address incoming calls and emails from clients, as well as make outbound service-related calls.

• Collect, assess, and analyze clients' financial data, including credit reports.

• Create and present customized action plans and educational materials.

• Explain program options and associated fees when necessary.

• Offer counseling for pre-purchase, foreclosure prevention, rental issues, post-loan modifications, and reverse mortgages.

• Ensure accurate record-keeping while upholding the confidentiality of client information.

• Complete mandatory training and maintain relevant certifications.

• Collaborate with team members to enhance service quality and meet organizational objectives.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to work remotely from a designated home office.

• Availability for full-time hours: 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts.

• Willingness to secure HUD and NFCC certifications during the training period.

• Certifications are not mandatory for application but must be acquired to continue in the position.

• Proficiency in typing at least 40 words per minute with 80% accuracy.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred, though not required.

• Ability to adhere to the specified schedule in Eastern Time, regardless of local time zone.

• Requirement for a wired internet connection (ethernet).

• Minimum internet speed of 200 Mbps for single-person households; 400 Mbps for households with two or more individuals.

• A dedicated, private workspace with a door that can be closed.

• Security camera as part of the workstation setup.

• Alternative caregiving arrangements needed during working hours.
