Financial Reporting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Provide financial advisory support to finance teams and other departments to aid in decision-making.

• Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial closing, and forecasts.

• Ensure the effective implementation of control frameworks within O-I.

• Aid in the calculations for business cases.

• Oversee month-end closing activities and ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP.

• Manage financial data and generate reports for comprehensive financial analysis.

• Facilitate audits by supplying required documentation and analytical insights.

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and recommend actionable plans for implementation.

• Track business performance relative to budgets and forecasts.

• Communicate variances and trends to management within the business.

• Collect, consolidate, and report forecast and budget information in collaboration with Country Controlling Teams.

• Establish and sustain best practices in information management with members of the Country Group.

• Actively engage in FP&A projects.

• Exchange knowledge and expertise with fellow Reporting Analysts.

• Provide support in automation, standardization, and other technical areas.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Finance and/or Accounting.

• Proficiency in English.

• At least 2-3 years of experience in Shared Service Centers (SSC), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), or Controlling.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Strong understanding of General Accounting principles.

• Skills in Cost Management, budgeting, and controlling.

• Excellent communication abilities and a basic understanding of public speaking.

• Knowledge of Tagetik is considered an advantage.

• Experience with SAP is a plus.
