This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Guide clients throughout their comprehensive financial journey.
• Assess clients’ aspirations and motivations to create integrated investment, tax, and retirement strategies.
• Convert client insights into precise, strategic financial guidance.
• Illustrate the benefits of financial planning and foster trust.
• Propel asset consolidation at Wealthsimple through goal-oriented advice.
• Take ownership of performance metrics and consolidation goals.
• Engage with clients via phone and video to provide tailored financial planning.
• Leverage technology to enhance the accessibility, usability, and effectiveness of financial planning.
• Actively listen and pose insightful questions during financial discussions.
• Inspire prospective and existing clients with advice and Wealthsimple’s offerings.
• CFP designation is mandatory.
• Minimum of 4 years of financial planning experience with direct responsibilities in asset consolidation.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a demonstrated history of high performance.
• Capability to excel in a dynamic, high-expectation sales environment.
• Ability to take ownership of performance metrics.
• Strong passion for financial planning.
• Client-focused and empathetic approach.
• Proficient in active listening and providing thoughtful, transparent advice.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Comfortable utilizing digital tools, including AI and technology.
• Experience in enhancing financial planning processes is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in French is a significant asset.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Credentials necessary to present oneself as a Financial Planner in Ontario and/or Quebec, including CFP, IPF, and AMF credentials as applicable.
• Current CIM or CFA designation in good standing is required for securities licensing with CIRO.
• Professional proficiency in both English and French.
