Financial Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +42 more states.

📋 Description

• Execute rebate reconciliation processes, conduct payment analysis, resolve disputes, perform reserve analysis, and carry out related financial assessments.

• Collaborate closely with Trade Relations, Legal, Accounting, and pharmaceutical manufacturers.

• Review and understand contract terms relevant to the Reconciliation function.

• Monitor and apply payments owed by pharmaceutical manufacturers.

• Identify overdue payments and initiate late fee billing as stipulated by contracts.

• Manipulate and analyze payment data received from pharmaceutical manufacturers.

• Reconcile payment information with invoiced amounts to pinpoint disputed items.

• Analyze and investigate discrepancies and disputed items to decide on acceptance or rejection of disputes.

• Communicate with pharmaceutical manufacturers regarding discrepancies and disputes.

• Update internal dispute tracking data on a monthly basis.

• Conduct necessary reserve analysis each month.

• Investigate and address inquiries related to outstanding balances.

• Assist in reducing clients’ overall pharmaceutical spending, making quality care more affordable and accessible.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 months of experience in finance or analytics.

• More than 6 months of experience using Microsoft Excel.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Mathematics, or Economics is preferred, or equivalent work experience.

• Capability to manage basic to intermediate data manipulation and analysis.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Detail-oriented with proven analytical skills.

• Proficient in organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is preferred.

• Familiarity with contract administration, financial and/or data analysis, data mining, cash reconciliations, and complex processes is advantageous.

• Experience with PBMs or pharmaceutical manufacturers and knowledge of pharmaceutical products is preferred.

• Experience interpreting contracts is preferred.
