This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Produce one long-form YouTube video each week, totaling approximately four per month, focusing on a stock, sector, or investment theme.

• Create scripts that convey a natural, conversational flow, featuring emphasis, emotional nuances, engaging hooks, and calls to action.

• Establish audience trust and foster habitual viewership as the identifiable face and voice of the YouTube channel.

• Interpret editorial scripts through delivery choices, including pacing, emphasis, energy, clarity, and personal style.

• Make complex financial content feel approachable and conversational.

• Film on a consistent weekly schedule to ensure regular content publication.

• Collaborate with editorial and video production teams, integrating feedback swiftly.

• Identify scripts that may not be suitable for delivery prior to filming.

• Assist in cultivating a recognizable on-camera persona for retail investors on YouTube.

• Serve as the primary contact for the Video Content Lead.

⛳️ Requirements

• Comfortable and credible discussing stocks, markets, and investment strategies.

• Familiar with long-form YouTube conventions, including pacing, structure, and maintaining viewer engagement for 10–15+ minutes.

• Strong, natural delivery on camera.

• Capable of maintaining focus and energy throughout a complete long-form take or polished segments.

• Open to receiving feedback on tone, pacing, and framing, with the ability to adapt quickly.

• Own a reliable camera, audio, and lighting setup that meets broadcast-quality standards for long-form YouTube videos.

• Maintain a dependable weekly filming schedule for a minimum of 6 months.

• Submit a required application video of 5+ minutes speaking directly to the camera.

• Provide a required explanation of a company whose stock was recently bought or sold.

• Bonus: prior on-camera experience in finance, business news, or a similar explainer/commentary format is preferred.
