Financial Institution Relationship Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Drive sales for Genius® and other Global Payments solutions targeting small and mid-sized businesses in the restaurant, retail, and service sectors.

• Collaborate with branches to co-sell, conduct live demonstrations, and successfully close high-value merchant accounts.

• Take ownership of a steady pipeline through field prospecting, digital outreach, and local networking efforts.

• Provide consultative, value-driven presentations both in-person and virtually.

• Work together with the District Manager to identify opportunities, schedule appointments, and finalize sales within a short time frame.

• Ensure accurate tracking of pipeline and activities in Atlas and Salesforce, including call notes, follow-ups, and client communications.

• Maintain relationships with bank and credit union partners, converting referrals into lasting merchant relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least one year of experience in B2B or B2C Outside Sales.

• Demonstrated success in B2B sales, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or merchant services.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Proficient in building relationships and selling both face-to-face and virtually.

• High energy, self-driven, results-oriented, with a competitive spirit and a collaborative mindset.

• Professional demeanor with the ability to connect with business owners and quickly establish trust.

• Willingness to spend 75% of the time in the field.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Must reside within two hours of the job posting location.
