This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the daily finance operations across all Group entities, encompassing bookkeeping through to trial balance.
• Manage the month-end closing process, delivering accurate and timely management accounts along with consolidated Group reporting.
• Take charge of cash-flow forecasting and monitor Group cash, debtor days, and working capital across various currencies.
• Enhance financial controls, policies, and approval processes, including intercompany and transfer pricing strategies.
• Responsible for revenue recognition across different projects, retainers, and subscriptions, while improving margin visibility by customer, service, and region.
• Lead the budgeting and reforecasting initiatives, transforming variances into actionable insights for the leadership team.
• Conduct the annual audit and coordinate statutory accounts, VAT/GST, and tax compliance with external advisors.
• Streamline and automate finance processes, including assessing AI applications.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounts team.
• Report directly to the Group Finance Director.
• ACA, ACCA or equivalent UK accounting qualification is required.
• Proven experience in managing a finance or accounts team.
• Comprehensive hands-on knowledge of the full accounting cycle, from bookkeeping to consolidated management accounts.
• Experience working across multiple legal entities, currencies, and jurisdictions, including intercompany accounting and transfer pricing.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, auditing, statutory reporting, VAT, and payroll processes.
• Solid experience in cash-flow management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in Xero and advanced Excel skills.
• Demonstrated history of enhancing finance processes and systems.
• Must possess the legal right to work in the UK.
• Must be based in the UK.
