This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage accounting operations across various business lines and consolidated reporting.

• Lead the month-end closing process, emphasizing accuracy, timeliness, and ongoing process enhancements.

• Supervise annual audit activities, general ledger accounting, treasury functions, accounts receivable and billing, as well as accounts payable.

• Guide, develop, and support a small team of accounting professionals.

• Provide the monthly reporting package, which includes financial statements, presentation materials, and concise variance-focused commentary for company leadership.

• Take a pivotal role in Third Wave's transition to a new ERP system, focusing on data flows, system configuration to facilitate growth, and integration with group reporting.

• Collaborate closely with the Pine Services Group accounting team on audits, capital expenditures, sales tax, and consolidation efforts.

• Recognize and capitalize on opportunities to enhance systems, controls, and reporting as the organization expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Active or recently active CPA license, or an equivalent qualification.

• A minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership of personnel.

• Proven accountability for month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.

• Strong proficiency in GAAP, particularly in relation to ASC 606 revenue and cost recognition standards.

• Practical experience with mid-market ERP systems, such as Business Central or Acumatica.

• Advanced skills in Excel and the capability to generate clear, executive-ready reports.

• Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

• A sincere desire to learn, grow, and assume greater responsibilities.

• Experience in a private equity-backed or publicly traded organization.

• Experience with ERP implementation or migration projects.

• Background in professional services, consulting, or technology services.

• Familiarity with Power BI.
