Financial Analyst, Travel Supplier Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate supplier revenue, commission, incentive, and performance metrics

• Identify patterns, validate outcomes, and produce insights that aid in forecasting, budgeting, business evaluations, and strategic decisions

• Create and manage financial models for supplier negotiations, business cases, forecasting, and strategic planning

• Collaborate with supplier managers and leadership to assess agreements and quantify the financial and operational impacts of contractual changes

• Assist in annual planning, forecasting, and budgeting by utilizing data-driven analysis

• Employ reporting tools and Microsoft Office to analyze data in relation to contract models and evaluate strategic alternatives

• Perform ad hoc analyses of suppliers

• Create interactive reports to track contractual and financial performance

• Present analyses and recommended actions to internal teams

• Enhance reporting capabilities and contribute to the development of analytical tools and solutions

• Cultivate a deep understanding of supplier data to guarantee the accuracy and integrity of reported results

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• Previous analytical and financial experience, particularly in the travel sector

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Capability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable insights

• Proficiency in data analysis software such as Excel

• Competent oral, written, and presentation communication skills in English

• Basic knowledge of SQL is advantageous
