This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Prepare, analyze, and disseminate regular financial reports, dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting packages.
• Evaluate financial and operational results to uncover trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
• Offer valuable insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales & Marketing, Operations, IT, and other business units on forecasting assumptions, drivers, and variances.
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes through variance analysis and management commentary.
• Maintain and utilize financial accounting and reporting systems effectively.
• Assist with on-demand financial analyses, executive presentations, and strategic initiatives.
• Enhance financial reporting, month-end closure, and analytical capabilities through process improvements and automation.
• Foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate informed business decisions.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
• Over 3 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, financial reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or a similar analytical finance position.
• Strong comprehension of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, particularly in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Familiarity with accounting and reporting systems such as SAP, Hyperion/Essbase, or comparable ERP platforms.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable business insights.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in presenting financial information to both finance and non-finance audiences.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proven attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across various functions and establish strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Capacity to work in a primarily office-based hybrid or corporate office environment.
• Preferred: A Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field.
• Preferred: CPA, CMA, or other pertinent professional certifications.
• Preferred: Experience in the telecommunications, technology, or infrastructure sectors.
• Preferred: Experience supporting enterprise planning, executive reporting, or management reporting functions.
• Preferred: Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
