Financial Analyst I – FP&A

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Analyze financial data and create financial models to facilitate operational and business decision-making.

• Conduct variance analyses to uncover financial trends, risks, opportunities, and performance factors.

• Assess actual financial outcomes against budgets, forecasts, and operational plans.

• Examine operational, technology, and customer-related datasets to generate reports and actionable insights.

• Identify trends and offer recommendations based on quantitative analysis.

• Compile, organize, validate, and interpret extensive datasets from various sources.

• Write, edit, and interpret SQL queries for reporting and data analysis purposes.

• Utilize laboratory systems, data marts, and reporting tools to extract and analyze data.

• Create reports, dashboards, and presentations for business stakeholders.

• Research and assess complex projects that involve financial, operational, and technical aspects.

• Evaluate process methodologies and financial implications to support business initiatives.

• Suggest and assist in the implementation of new protocols, methodologies, and processes.

• Support leadership with strategic initiatives and stakeholder implementation plans.

• Prepare and present analytical insights, financial results, and recommendations to business users and leadership.

• Transform analytical findings into business impacts related to pricing, volume, revenue, and operational performance.

• Collaborate with organizational leaders to assess performance, identify trends, create financial models, and back strategic initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree in Finance.

• 1 year or more of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, revenue cycle management, accounting, finance, healthcare analytics, or data analytics.

• Capability to convey complex financial and analytical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in collaborating with leadership, finance, operations, information technology, and other stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Understanding of the connections between pricing, volume, revenue, and business performance drivers.
