Financial Analyst – Business Valuations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and overall company performance.

• Construct and maintain financial and valuation models using Excel.

• Assist in business valuations employing DCF, market multiples, comparable companies, and transaction analysis.

• Perform research on companies, industries, and markets.

• Create forecasts, scenarios, and conduct sensitivity analyses.

• Contribute to the preparation of valuation reports and accompanying documentation.

• Collaborate with the team on international client projects.

• Work closely with an experienced valuation expert.

• Support ongoing projects and progressively assume greater responsibility for valuation assignments.

• Engage in an interview and a brief practical assessment centered around financial analysis, research, and valuation-related skills.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.

• Approximately 3+ years of experience in the financial services sector.

• Practical knowledge in business valuations, Deal Advisory, Transaction Advisory, Corporate Finance, M&A, or Audit with valuation exposure.

• Solid understanding of financial statements and cash flow analysis.

• Proficient Excel skills.

• Strong analytical and research capabilities.

• Excellent written and spoken English proficiency.

• Ability to work independently and reliably in a remote setting.

• Experience with Big Four or other reputable audit/advisory firms is a plus.

• A background that integrates Audit with Valuations / Deals / Transaction Services is advantageous.

• ACA, ACCA, CFA, or a similar professional qualification is preferred.

• Experience in developing financial models from the ground up is a plus.

• Familiarity with international valuation projects is beneficial.

• Interview and a brief practical assessment focused on financial analysis, research, and valuation-related skills.
