Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assist in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and operational analysis for C3 Presents' festivals, events, and business operations.

• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Sponsorship, Legal, Operations, and other business teams.

• Support the preparation of monthly forecasts, annual operating budgets, long-term planning, and Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs).

• Generate financial reports and analyze discrepancies between actual outcomes, forecasts, budgets, and previous periods.

• Maintain financial models, forecasting schedules, dashboards, and management reports.

• Track forecast accuracy and suggest enhancements to planning assumptions.

• Examine revenue and expense activities to identify trends and address reporting inconsistencies.

• Keep financial tracking schedules and accompanying business reports up to date.

• Discover opportunities to enhance financial reporting methods, forecasting precision, and operational efficiency.

• Aid in reporting enhancements and process improvements.

• Support audit requests, reporting requirements, and financial documentation.

• Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial analyses for management.

• Create reporting packages and dashboards that facilitate departmental decision-making.

• Assist with additional finance projects and perform other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• 3–5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), financial analysis, business analytics, or corporate finance.

• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.

• Experience with Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, Adaptive Planning, or similar ERP and forecasting systems is preferred.

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.

• Ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating across various departments.
