Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Examine financial outcomes, market trends, and crucial performance indicators to facilitate strategic and operational decision-making.

• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses.

• Develop and sustain financial models to assess revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, investment prospects, and business scenarios.

• Collaborate with business leaders and department heads to collect inputs, clarify financial performance, and suggest corrective measures.

• Perform cost, margin, pricing, and profitability analyses to uncover enhancement opportunities.

• Aid in the annual budgeting, long-range planning, and rolling forecast procedures.

• Investigate market, industry, and economic trends that impact company performance.

• Create presentations and dashboards that convey insights to management and stakeholders.

• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of financial data with internal policies and reporting standards.

• Support ad hoc analyses, special projects, and process optimization initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.

• 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, corporate finance, or a similar analytical position.

• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.

• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel.

• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, ERP systems, or planning tools is advantageous.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities, adhere to deadlines, and convey intricate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
