Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Consolidate and enhance planning and reporting processes, which include monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and multi-year projections.

• Engage with senior management regarding potential risks, opportunities, and factors affecting forecast variances.

• Deliver business insights to facilitate timely and informed decision-making.

• Collaborate with business leaders to evaluate and communicate performance, trends, and strategic trade-offs.

• Create reporting that compares budgeted figures to actual results and forecasts to actual outcomes.

• Work alongside the accounting team during monthly closing processes to ensure financial accuracy and provide variance analyses.

• Propel process enhancements by assessing new store openings and innovative concepts.

• Assist in quarterly financial reporting to meet board and investor requirements.

• Generate and scrutinize financial reports and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making.

• Identify and spearhead cross-functional initiatives to refine processes, systems, and automation.

• Aid in compliance activities and manage patient information in line with HIPAA regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• A minimum of 2–5 years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint is required.

• Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or similar business intelligence tools is a plus.

• Knowledge of SQL is advantageous.

• Detail-oriented, demonstrating the ability to produce highly accurate work.

• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.

• A proactive ownership mentality and capability to drive projects to completion independently.

• Strong problem-solving skills, utilizing statistical analysis or working with large data sets.

• Ability to collaborate effectively, listen, understand business challenges, and cultivate strong relationships.

• Proficient in translating complex analyses into clear, actionable summaries or recommendations.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adaptable in a dynamic work environment.

• Capacity to meet tight deadlines and perform under pressure.
