Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide support to the Work Dynamics Client Finance Organization as a Financial Analyst for a start-up client account.

• Execute regular and ad-hoc reporting, which includes creating client documents, presentations, graphs, and charts.

• Ensure data integrity across all deliverables.

• Produce monthly and quarterly reports.

• Manage daily forecasting activities and improve reporting frameworks.

• Analyze Budget versus Actual and Forecast versus Actual spending.

• Assist in the annual budget planning, preparation, and development processes.

• Aid leaders in identifying necessary budget adjustments and implementing changes.

• Organize and maintain systems for team data collection.

• Create efficient reporting strategies through automation and process simplification.

• Identify tactical and strategic opportunities, gaps, and financial risks.

• Support initiatives aimed at cost savings and process improvements.

• Engage in developing best practices, process documentation, and user support materials for financial reporting across the account.

• Collaborate with leaders throughout the organization to provide financial insights and enhance client success while contributing to JLL's operational excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.

• Over 2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with proven proficiency in complex financial modeling.

• Experience in supporting start-up or transition client accounts is preferred.

• Familiarity with financial reporting automation tools and technologies is preferred.

• Background in budget planning and forecasting within a corporate services environment is preferred.

• Track record of success in process improvement and cost-saving initiatives is preferred.

• Demonstrated financial competency at a detailed operational level is preferred.

• High attention to detail and accuracy, alongside strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of interpersonal sensitivity are preferred.

• Strong organizational and coordination skills with a proven ability to collaborate across various organizational levels are preferred.
