Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Gather and convert data into actionable insights for the Finance department

• Import, transform, validate, and model data to facilitate clinical and operational decision-making

• Utilize critical thinking and analytical skills to build and evaluate data

• Assess financial information to evaluate current and future financial performance

• Collaborate with management to collect, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations on financial plans, future needs, and operating forecasts

• Execute research, data mining, and data mapping tasks

• Communicate findings through reports and presentations to diverse audiences

• Diagnose and rectify data load errors or discrepancies

• Offer financial analysis to business stakeholders

• Generate accurate and timely reports

• Participate in process improvement initiatives

• Create reports and datasets using system tools, database queries, and scripts

• Consolidate data from various sources to produce required data elements

• Develop and maintain report forms, dashboards, data generators, standard reports, and end-user information portals

• Establish report specifications based on business requests as needed

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is essential

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required

• MBA or CPA is preferred

• Proficient in advanced Excel functions

• Intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint is necessary

• Power BI experience is preferred but not mandatory

• Familiarity with Pivot Tables

• Proficient in lookup functions

• Experience in graphing data

• Strong analytical skills are required

• Background in analyzing financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet

• Experience in Forecasting & Budgeting

• Preferred experience in 13-week cash flow forecasting

• Healthcare experience is preferred

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required
