This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.
• Oversees all elements of pharmacy contractual guarantees, including regular performance analysis and pricing recommendations to achieve guarantee targets.
• Manages provider contracts from start to finish and supports cross-functional partners with negotiations for future periods and inquiries regarding current performance.
• Leads or participates in complex projects and analyses, utilizing sound judgment, creativity, and strategic thinking to plan and implement initiatives.
• Delivers findings and recommendations to leadership, enhances financial analysis and forecasting methods, translates business requirements into technical specifications for matrix partners, and acts as an internal subject matter expert.
• Manages pharmacy pricing to fulfill contractual guarantee targets.
• Reviews pharmacy contracts to ensure all guarantees are accurately documented.
• Monitors, manages, and reports on pharmacy guarantee performance.
• Suggests system modifications to comply with provider contractual guarantees.
• Oversees and optimizes the provider guarantees database.
• Provides cross-functional assistance to internal business partners through ad hoc projects.
• Leads analyses of claims data to assess strategic corporate initiatives and projects.
• Evaluates current processes and identifies areas for improvement.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in business, accounting, mathematics, statistics, or finance.
• At least 3 years of experience in business analysis, modeling, pricing, and/or data management.
• Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Office applications is essential.
• Experience with data warehouses and coding is advantageous, including familiarity with Visual Basic, Python, C++, R, or Teradata.
• A strong understanding of the PBM business model is necessary.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to prepare and present concepts and proposals to all levels of management.
