Financial Aid Analyst – Workday

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as the Workday Student Financial Aid Analyst within the Workday Student team alongside Workday Support Services.

• Report directly to the Financial Aid Functional Lead.

• Acquire in-depth knowledge of Workday functionalities and navigation.

• Document current processes.

• Contribute to the design and setup of new business processes.

• Test both new and existing processes.

• Create training and communication materials.

• Engage in hands-on functional and technical project activities.

• Offer guidance to System resources.

• Demonstrate and articulate key product features.

• Document project requirements and design specifications.

• Facilitate knowledge transfer to the project team.

• Configure relevant Workday functionalities.

• Support testing and implementation of new or updated Workday functionalities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or its educational equivalent from an accredited institution of higher education.

• Minimum of three years of experience in higher education financial aid or a related field.

• Ability to work collaboratively with others.

• Willingness to travel across the State to various UA campuses for new acquisitions or ongoing training.

• Understanding of the processes being transformed and their integration with other processes and initiatives.

• Excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills.

• Strong organizational and task management abilities.

• Solid analytical capabilities.

• Effective management and teamwork skills.

• Capacity to make decisions at the project team level and escalate unresolved issues as necessary.

• Ability to structure work efficiently.

• Skill in providing direction and using interpersonal influence to align goals with results-focused outcomes.

• Completion of a criminal background check, Motor Vehicle Reports check, and Sex Offender Registry check.

• Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment.
