This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the FDR budget by monitoring expenditures, assessing approved allocations, and delivering financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
• Manage accounts payable, expense documentation, Ministry Partnership Agreements, short-term fund requests, onboarding of vendors and contractors, and associated financial documentation.
• Conduct reconciliations for accounts, field expenses, PEX cards, cash advances, and other financial records.
• Enhance and uphold internal controls, documentation practices, and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure adherence to Foursquare policies, IRS regulations, and established financial procedures; assist with audits as required.
• Create timely financial and operational reports, which include monthly, quarterly, annual, and incident-specific updates.
• Evaluate financial data, identify trends and risks, assess program effectiveness and resource allocation, and suggest actions accordingly.
• Offer financial analysis for forecasting response operations, recovery initiatives, and seasonal preparedness.
• Develop and sustain executive dashboards, reporting tools, and standardized templates.
• Identify, apply for, and assist in the development of grant applications.
• Monitor grant budgets, expenditures, deadlines, restrictions, deliverables, and closeout requirements.
• Aid in donor gift-in-kind allocation and donor development through reporting and analysis in Salesforce and other internal systems.
• Track and report field deliverable metrics such as meals provided, individuals supported, and supplies distributed.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, which includes weekends, holidays, and vacation coverage, to assist active disaster response operations.
• Collaborate with the Foursquare Disaster Relief and One team to enhance workflows, stewardship, and reporting practices.
• Execute additional duties and projects as assigned by the supervisory team leader.
• At least 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, financial operations, or reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Comprehensive knowledge of budgeting, reporting, compliance, internal controls, reconciliation, and financial analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel), including collaboration tools like Teams.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and adaptability in fast-paced disaster response settings.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to servant leadership, collaboration, and the mission of Foursquare Disaster Relief.
• Ability to work remotely effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Must be capable of sitting for extended periods; demonstrate manual dexterity; see and read computer screens and printed materials; hear and understand speech; follow oral and written instructions; and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
