SAP ECP Payroll Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage payroll processing for a diverse range of clients utilizing SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP)

• Execute routine, off-cycle, bonus, and adjustment payrolls

• Utilize Payroll Control Center (PCC) to oversee payroll execution, assess exceptions, and troubleshoot payroll-related issues

• Validate payroll outcomes and conduct payroll reconciliation tasks

• Address and resolve payroll exceptions, inaccuracies, retroactive calculations, and employee queries

• Process employee data modifications including new hires, terminations, compensation adjustments, garnishments, tax changes, and direct deposit updates

• Organize payroll calendars and guarantee timely payroll processing for designated clients

• Assist with year-end payroll tasks such as W-2 processing and payroll audits

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations

• Collaborate with HR-Path payroll consultants, payroll managers, and client stakeholders

• Document payroll procedures and promote continuous improvement efforts

• Aid in testing and validating payroll configuration updates and system modifications

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in payroll processing

• More than 2 years of practical experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP)

• Familiarity with SAP Payroll Control Center (PCC)

• Experience in processing payroll for medium to large employee groups

• In-depth knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations, payroll taxes, garnishments, and employee deductions

• Proficient in troubleshooting payroll discrepancies and conducting root cause analysis

• Strong organizational abilities to handle multiple clients and payroll timelines concurrently

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in supporting payroll operations within a managed services, outsourcing, or consulting framework

• Familiarity with SAP Employee Central (EC)

• Experience in multi-state payroll processing

• Certification as a CPP (Certified Payroll Professional)

• Proven experience in supporting payroll implementations, upgrades, or transformation projects

• Knowledge of payroll interfaces, data imports, and payroll reporting tools
