Finance Transformation Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily implementation of finance transformation and accounting advisory projects.

• Manage project timelines, budgets, deliverables, workplans, and client expectations.

• Evaluate finance operations, processes, controls, and organizational frameworks.

• Examine current finance processes to pinpoint areas for enhancement in efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.

• Support transformation efforts across Lead-to-Cash, Source-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, FP&A, and other functions within the Office of the CFO.

• Formulate recommendations, process enhancements, and implementation strategies.

• Lead client workshops, process-mapping activities, and stakeholder discussions.

• Assist in the redesign of processes, improvements in operating models, and technology-driven transformation initiatives.

• Collaborate with teams in technology, risk, tax, audit, and other advisory areas.

• Identify project risks and challenges and devise mitigation strategies.

• Cultivate relationships with client management and key stakeholders.

• Act as the primary point of contact for client teams on a daily basis.

• Provide updates on project status and communicate progress, risks, and major decisions to client leadership.

• Ensure that projects adhere to scope, budget, and timeline expectations.

• Spot opportunities to enhance client value and convey potential needs to engagement leadership.

• Supervise and guide Senior Associates, Associates, and Consultants.

• Delegate tasks and offer coaching, technical guidance, and performance evaluations.

• Review deliverables for quality, accuracy, and consistency.

• Foster team development through knowledge sharing, mentorship, and training.

• Assist in staffing engagements and coordinating resources.

• Contribute to methodologies, tools, templates, and best practices.

• Support the development of proposals, presentations, and client pursuits.

• Engage in internal initiatives aimed at enhancing services.

• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, finance transformation methodologies, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in public accounting, consulting, finance transformation, accounting advisory, or a mix of consulting and industry finance experience.

• Proven experience leading workstreams or managing project teams in finance transformation, accounting advisory, or business process improvement projects.

• Extensive knowledge of finance and accounting processes, including Lead-to-Cash, Source-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).

• Experience in conducting operational and financial assessments and creating actionable solutions.

• Familiarity with finance operating models, process improvement methodologies, and transformation frameworks.

• Practical experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, automation platforms, and data analytics solutions.

• Strong skills in project management, organization, communication, and presentation.

• Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities and deliver exceptional client service in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

• Willingness to travel as required, approximately 25-40% of the time.
