Finance Systems Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the inventory system roadmap, plan enhancements, create BRDs/PRDs, and oversee the complete delivery process from design through UAT to release.

• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles by establishing test plans, conducting QA, and providing sign-off prior to deployment.

• Diagnose system issues and develop self-service diagnostic scripts.

• Facilitate ERP integrations and construct automated data pipelines.

• Strategize and implement data migrations using scripting and AI-assisted tools for validation and reconciliation.

• Recognize, design, and execute automation and AI-driven workflows across finance operations, including journal-entry generation, bank reconciliation, data extraction, reporting, and exception handling.

• Create and sustain self-service tools, dashboards, and scripts utilizing Python, SQL, Excel/VBA, and low-code platforms.

• Assess and integrate AI/ML tools, such as LLMs, copilots, and RPA, into daily operations.

• Maintain system documentation, which includes BRDs, runbooks, and user manuals.

• Assist with ad-hoc finance transformation initiatives by providing scalable and repeatable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in FinTech, Financial Services, or dynamic tech environments.

• Qualified accountant (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) with experience in multi-currency accounting.

• Practical ERP experience with SAP, Workday, or NetSuite, including integrations or migrations.

• Proven track record in leading UAT for finance or enterprise systems.

• Capability to independently develop tools using Python, SQL, and/or VBA.

• Proficient with low-code platforms.

• Demonstrated experience with AI tools, including LLMs, copilots, and RPA, for automating analysis, documentation, testing, or workflows.

• Strong Excel abilities for reconciling large datasets and validating data.

• Self-motivated individual comfortable working autonomously in ambiguous and resource-limited settings.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills across operators and senior leadership.
