This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +26 more states.
• Act as a subject matter expert regarding Finance business processes, system functionalities, configurations, and capabilities.
• Manage, administer, and provide support for Finance Systems and related ancillary systems.
• Aid in the development and upkeep of a reporting repository.
• Assist with requests related to reporting and analytics.
• Identify opportunities to improve Workday Financials, associated processes, and reporting mechanisms.
• Investigate new functionalities, engage with the Workday Community, and stay updated on best practices.
• Develop and maintain user guides, process flows, and configuration documentation.
• Support Workday training initiatives for end users.
• Participate in planned system upgrades, including the development of test plans, execution of regression testing, and evaluation and prototyping of new functionalities.
• Assist with change management efforts, create user documentation, and conduct training sessions.
• Collect and qualify business requirements while recommending solutions in collaboration with IT, Payroll, and HR teams.
• Analyze, document, and optimize existing workflows.
• Ensure the accuracy of system data through data loads and audits.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Workday Financial Analyst or in a similar capacity (Required).
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent of four additional years of experience (Required).
• Strong grasp of accounting and finance principles (Required).
• Professional Certifications in Workday Financials modules (Preferred).
• Experience with AI and automation tools (Preferred).
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (including VBA/Macros) and familiarity with SQL (Preferred).
• Ability to type and communicate clearly and effectively both in person and over the phone.
• Capacity to fulfill essential sedentary physical requirements, with or without accommodation.
