Finance Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the daily monitoring of e-invoicing processes via PEPPOL and other networks.

• Investigate and address issues related to invoice failures, rejections, mapping discrepancies, and network errors.

• Manage customer master data, routing IDs, PEPPOL identifiers, tax categories, and required fields.

• Oversee VAT/tax category mapping to comply with each country's regulatory standards.

• Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding process for new countries, including gathering requirements, testing, certification, and implementation.

• Provide training to Finance, Customer Service, and local market teams on procedures, tools, and compliance.

• Collaborate with PEPPOL access point providers, middleware vendors, and SAP teams.

• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance across different jurisdictions.

• Keep standard operating procedures (SOPs), country requirement guides, and troubleshooting playbooks up to date.

• Identify opportunities for automation, minimize manual interventions, and improve data quality.

• Manage and develop the Junior E-invoicing support personnel and ensure their effective engagement in responsibilities.

• Serve as the liaison among Finance, IT/SAP, Tax, Compliance, and local market teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid understanding of billing, output types, IDocs/XML, customer master data, and tax configuration.

• Knowledge of BIS standards, access points, identifiers, and validation criteria.

• Experience with country-specific e-invoicing regulations, including Italy SDI, France PDP, and Poland KSeF.

• Ability to analyze XML, mapping issues, and integration logs.

• Demonstrated capability to lead multi-country rollouts.

• Comfortable collaborating with Finance, IT, Tax, and external vendors.

• Proficient in simplifying complex processes for non-technical audiences.
