
Finance Specialist – Cash Flow Planning & Analysis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Oversee ongoing closing, reporting, and analytical activities with Segments, Tier 2 businesses, and Corporate.
• Collaborate with Treasury on weekly direct cash models, which include non-FCF activities (CFIA and CFFA).
• Enhance visibility and management of collections and disbursements alongside Treasury and Tier 2 business FP&A teams.
• Foster a cash culture through improved data visibility and centralized reporting of actual figures and forecasting methodologies.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual cash flow projections.
• Monitor and assess cash flow variances, pinpointing key drivers and trends.
• Work with cross-functional teams to increase the accuracy of cash flow forecasting.
• Support the creation of financial models and tools for cash flow analysis and forecasting.
• Compile management reports and presentations regarding cash flow performance and forecasts.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses for strategic initiatives and informed decision-making.
• Offer recommendations for cash flow management and optimization to operational teams and the Senior Leadership Team.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in cash flow management and financial analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with increasing responsibility in FP&A, Controllership, or Cost Management.
• Expertise in developing complex financial models to assess business performance, predict future trends, and evaluate risks and opportunities.
• Capability to manage budgets, monitor actual performances against forecasts, and modify strategies as necessary.
• Strong grasp of financial statements and the ability to interpret and convey financial results.
• Experience in OFLP, FMP, CAS, or other GE leadership programs is preferred.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proactive with a strong eagerness to learn and advance in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in managing multiple priorities and adhering to tight deadlines.
