This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Ensure precise QuickBooks Online records are maintained across various entities.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, payment processing, reconciliations, and the month-end close process.
• Generate profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, accounts receivable/payable aging reports, and variance analyses.
• Develop and sustain cash flow forecasts, budgets, and budget-versus-actual reports.
• Keep track of financial and operational deadlines, calendars, vendors, contracts, and essential documentation.
• Recognize inefficient or repetitive processes and create improved workflows.
• Construct automations, templates, dashboards, and standardized procedures utilizing Microsoft 365, Excel, Power Automate, Asana, and QuickBooks.
• Establish and update clear standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable financial insights to leadership.
• Assist with finance-related functions for affiliated staffing and nonprofit organizations.
• First 30 days: Assume responsibility for the books, reconciliations, recurring calendars, and mapping current processes.
• By day 60: Implement process enhancements or automations and showcase measurable time savings.
• By day 90: Independently oversee finance reporting schedules, cash flow forecasting, budget-versus-actual reporting, and documented finance and operations SOPs.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle bookkeeping, staff accounting, or finance operations.
• Highly skilled in QuickBooks Online, particularly in multi-entity bookkeeping.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including PivotTables, lookups, formulas, and financial modeling.
• Familiar with accrual accounting and the month-end closing process.
• Experienced in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
• Capable of identifying manual processes, enhancing them, and articulating measurable outcomes.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and adept at working independently.
• Effective communicator who can simplify and convey financial information clearly.
• Comfortable managing confidential financial and client data.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Power Automate, Zapier, Make, Power Query, VBA, Python, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Asana, or Wise.
• Preferred: Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, long-term care, or home and community-based services.
