Finance Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Retrieve invoices from various card brand websites

• Upload invoices into the SQL Data Warehouse and archive them on the team SharePoint site

• Execute queries to generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports

• Prepare quarterly card brand reports and submissions (QMR and CIQ)

• Identify new billing lines and expense discrepancies for management assessment

• Compile monthly expense-to-P&L reconciliations to ensure that submitted expense figures align with the general ledger

• Maintain accuracy and thoroughness in expense reporting and communicate variances to management

• Generate invoices for external banks when necessary

• Track expense variations and pinpoint opportunities for improvement and cost reduction

• Address inquiries and issues within the area of expertise

• Assist the Scheme Fee Director and Senior Analyst with research and additional tasks

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in creating and executing SQL is essential.

• Over 5 years of experience in finance or card scheme operations

• Capacity to identify anomalies and recommend appropriate actions

• Experience in managing a financial closing process

• Proven skills in problem-solving and process enhancement

• Positive demeanor, concentrating on finding solutions

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities

• English (both written and spoken) is the primary language used
