This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.
• Assist in the timely and precise financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP, collaborating closely with the Controller.
• Prepare, assess, and analyze consolidated financial statements along with management reports for both domestic and international entities.
• Provide operational assistance during monthly closing, annual audits, technical accounting issues, and other accounting priorities.
• Support the maintenance of accounting policies, internal controls, and financial reporting procedures.
• Act as a backup to the Controller in operational duties.
• Take ownership of annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
• Create and manage executive dashboards, KPI reports, board materials, lender reports, and decision-support documentation.
• Analyze financial and operational results, identify trends and risks, and deliver actionable insights to executive leadership.
• Construct financial models and business cases for strategic initiatives, resource distribution, investments, and acquisitions.
• Collaborate with business leaders to assess opportunities, risks, operational performance, and financial objectives.
• Oversee domestic and international financial reporting, foreign currency consolidations, statutory reporting, and cross-border finance projects.
• Provide support for subscription accounting, ASC 606 revenue recognition, commission reporting, and recurring revenue analysis.
• Coordinate global sales tax, indirect tax, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead finance transformation projects aimed at enhancing scalability, efficiency, controls, and data integrity.
• Direct the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of finance systems, ERP platforms, reporting tools, and financial technology.
• Enhance financial processes, automate workflows, reinforce data flows, and integrate business systems.
• Develop and document standardized financial processes, operating procedures, and controls.
• Manage finance integration efforts for acquisitions and other strategic projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance encompassing FP&A, accounting, and finance operations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP.
• Strong FP&A experience that includes budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and analysis at the executive level.
• Experience in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing consolidated financial statements.
• Background in supporting multi-entity international operations and foreign currency accounting.
• Experience in the SaaS industry.
• Familiarity with subscription-based business models and recurring revenue.
• Proficient in Advanced Excel.
• Capability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate across different functions.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with an ability to convert financial information into business recommendations.
• Nice-to-have: experience in finance integration, ERP implementation, finance transformation, NetSuite, Salesforce, Zuora, international tax, transfer pricing, and BI/reporting tools.
