This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Manage and support the financial operations of Mastercam’s European branches.
• Act as the primary finance business partner for the region.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial performance.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Generate financial reports for corporate finance and senior management.
• Evaluate financial performance, identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and significant variances.
• Provide commentary and insights on revenue, costs, margins, cash flow, and balance sheet fluctuations.
• Ensure financial data is accurate, complete, and submitted according to corporate deadlines.
• Serve as the main financial contact for European entities.
• Develop relationships with local entity leaders, operational teams, and corporate finance.
• Offer financial guidance and support to local teams.
• Convert financial data into insights for business planning and decision-making.
• Assist with finance-related inquiries, reporting requirements, and process enhancements.
• Oversee European audit and tax relationships.
• Ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with company policies.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and aid in resolving reconciling items.
• Support intercompany processes, including reconciliations, recharges, and settlements.
• Help maintain and enhance internal controls across European entities.
• Identify process gaps and suggest improvements.
• Assist with local statutory reporting, audit, tax, and compliance obligations.
• Collaborate with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, and local service providers.
• Ensure that local reporting commitments are fulfilled accurately and punctually.
• Support VAT, payroll-related financial matters, and other local compliance obligations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Chartered Accountancy Qualification (or similar) is essential.
• 6 - 9 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial management roles.
• Experience in supporting multiple entities, regions, or international business units.
• Strong skills in financial reporting and analysis.
• Solid understanding of month-end close, balance sheet management, reconciliations, and financial controls.
• Ability to interpret financial data and offer clear, practical insights.
• Highly organized, with the capability to manage deadlines across multiple entities.
• Experience in supporting finance and accounting operations within European entities.
• Knowledge of European statutory reporting, VAT, tax, or local compliance requirements.
• Experience working in a global or US-headquartered organization.
• Proficient in using ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
• Proven ability to work independently while thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative, and globally distributed environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to forge strong partnerships across finance, operations, and leadership teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify root causes, assess financial impacts, and devise practical solutions.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Fully remote position within Europe.
• Regular travel to various European locations.
• Occasional travel to corporate offices.
