Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the monthly financial close, forecasting, and annual budgeting cycles for a portfolio of properties.

• Serve as the main finance business partner to center managers and client finance teams.

• Promote uniformity in financial reporting formats, delivery, and timelines throughout the client's broader portfolio.

• Mentor, coach, and nurture team members while providing regular finance training sessions.

• Supervise balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly financial reporting.

• Manage tenant outgoing recoveries, reconciliations, and audit processes.

• Ensure that all directly recoverable expenses are accurately charged and excluded from outgoings.

• Generate outgoings and marketing audit reports.

• Coordinate annual income, operating, and capex budgets within established timelines.

• Offer first-line support for the MRI system and collaborate with the client's Finance Systems Analyst on system enhancements.

• Ensure adherence to all JLL and client-specific accounting policies and procedures.

• Participate in monthly property meetings and maintain robust stakeholder relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Accounting or Finance, along with a CPA or CA qualification.

• A minimum of 4 years' experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Essential property accounting experience.

• Experience in team management.

• Familiarity with Yardi or MRI property accounting systems is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Capacity to work independently while effectively collaborating with diverse teams.

• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a keen attention to detail.
