Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Lead the process for closing accounts at the end of each month.

• Supervise daily accounting activities for the French branch, covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and monitoring cash flow.

• Prepare and file statutory reports, such as VAT and CIS.

• Manage relationships with external accounting firms (expert-comptable) and tax consultants.

• Assist with corporate income tax, CFE/CVAE, and annual accounts (liasse fiscale) tasks.

• Reconcile intercompany transactions across global operations.

• Prepare specifications and reconciliations for general ledger accounts.

• Provide monthly management reports to headquarters, including analysis of budget versus actual figures, forecasts, and commentary.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve operational objectives.

• Support statutory audits by supplying necessary documentation and prompt responses.

• Maintain internal controls and enhance local finance processes.

• Serve as a financial partner to local leadership and the Group Finance team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–6 years of accounting experience, ideally in a high-growth or technical setting.

• Comprehensive understanding of French GAAP (PCG) and statutory/tax compliance.

• Familiarity with VAT, corporate income tax, and liasse fiscale.

• Experience with group (IFRS) reporting is advantageous.

• Background in working with an expert-comptable and statutory auditors (CAC).

• Proven experience managing month-end closures in an international, multi-entity context.

• Proficient in ERP systems.

• Advanced skills in Excel.

• Fluent in both English and French.

• Detail-oriented, hands-on, and focused on finding solutions.

• Strong communication abilities and teamwork skills.

• Problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail.
