Finance Director – Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with operations leaders, hospital administrators, and regional directors to create and sustain hospital-level financial strategies that align with contractual commitments and staffing requirements.

• Oversee the creation of financial models and variance reporting tools to enhance accuracy, transparency, and tracking of profitability.

• Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver actionable insights to fortify hospital partnerships and boost operational efficiency.

• Work alongside corporate FP&A and executive leadership to ensure that forecasting and budgeting are in line with corporate financial goals.

• Prepare and present financial analyses and dashboards that highlight OBHG’s value to healthcare partners.

• Conduct reviews of financial performance, pinpoint areas for improvement, and implement cost optimization strategies.

• Collaborate across functions on data analytics, reporting automation, and initiatives for process enhancement.

• Lead or participate in special projects, financial due diligence, and strategic planning activities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Healthcare Management.

• 5–10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or corporate finance, ideally within the healthcare or hospital operations field.

• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

• Strong analytical, presentation, and communication abilities with a focus on business partnership.

• Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively across functions and influence operational strategy and financial results.

• High integrity with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

• Preferred: Master’s Degree (MBA) or CPA certification.

• Preferred: Over 10 years of extensive experience in healthcare analytics or hospital FP&A.

• Preferred: Practical experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, ERP systems, or enterprise reporting tools.

• Preferred: Proven track record in enhancing P&L performance, conducting margin analysis, and improving contract profitability.
