Finance Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage the daily cash operations across all entities, including DMCC, Acquisity, AI Broker, and others.

• Supervise substantial USD revenue flows from Whop into UAE bank accounts.

• Ensure the daily funding of GBP/AED corporate cards for Meta advertising expenditures.

• Develop real-time cash visibility systems for the Director of Finance.

• Lead the transition from the legacy Pleo/UK-entity framework to Qashio.

• Assess and implement Whop’s virtual card platform for automated Meta expenditures.

• Remove manual card topping and payment delays.

• Review manual finance processes and automate or systematize repetitive tasks.

• Create and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cash management, reporting, payments, refunds, and reconciliation.

• Collaborate with Emifast to ensure accurate, up-to-date, and well-structured Xero records across entities.

• Design financial dashboards for the Director of Finance and executive team.

• Oversee financial operations across 2–3 entities with varying products and revenue models.

• Hold external bookkeeping providers accountable for quality, timeliness, and precision.

• Manage the financial closure of the legacy UK entity.

• Deliver executive-level cash position and entity-specific P&L reporting.

• Identify profitability challenges, particularly for Acquisity, and propose corrective measures.

• Establish reporting rhythms to keep the Director of Finance informed.

• Report directly to and support the Director of Finance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in finance operations, treasury, or senior finance execution roles.

• Direct experience in a high-volume, high-transaction environment.

• Systems-oriented approach to creating repeatable processes and automations.

• Experience in leading or supervising finance operations teams, external partners, or cross-functional processes.

• Practical experience managing high-volume, multi-currency cash flows in USD, GBP, and AED.

• Demonstrated ability to build and implement finance operations SOPs.

• Experience working with external bookkeeping or accounting firms.

• Strong proficiency in Xero, Wise, Whop, and corporate card platforms like Pleo or Qashio.

• Familiarity with fast-growing digital, e-commerce, or performance marketing businesses.

• Experience dealing with significant scale, high daily cash movement, multiple currencies, and diverse entities.

• Highly desirable: knowledge of UAE corporate structures, particularly DMCC entities.

• Highly desirable: background in performance marketing businesses with substantial daily ad expenditures.

• Highly desirable: experience with entity wind-downs or cross-border restructuring.

• Highly desirable: understanding of Series A or early-stage finance environments.
