Finance Consultant – Accounting, Reporting & Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to clients on financial matters, specifically in controlling, accounting, and group management reporting.

• Assist clients in implementing, developing, and automating their financial reporting processes.

• Conduct analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Clearly explain the relationships between profit and loss and cash flow.

• Aid clients in utilizing the Financial Management Suite.

• Counsel clients from the private equity, start-up, and mid-market industries.

• Systematically pinpoint sources of errors.

• Analyze data flows and resolve discrepancies.

• Create innovative solutions for financial reporting.

• Design dashboards.

• Employ Excel and Power BI to represent complex financial relationships in an understandable manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in finance, particularly in controlling, accounting, or group consolidation.

• Strong understanding of the interconnections between business and financial aspects.

• Experience in working with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Familiarity with key financial metrics such as EBIT, working capital, and free cash flow.

• Proficient in Power BI or possess a strong affinity for reporting tools.

• Ability to visualize intricate financial relationships in dashboards and reports.
