Finance Analyst III, Managed Care

📋 Description

• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to assist Centene's Provider Network team and achieve company objectives through cost-saving strategies.

• Act as a crucial stakeholder across various markets and lines of business.

• Gather and assess financial data.

• Lead intricate financial projects.

• Deliver data-driven insights for business decisions related to network and reimbursement.

• Recognize trends and developments in competitive landscapes and present findings to senior management.

• Facilitate market calls and address daily market requirements.

• Create integrated analyses of revenue and expenses, along with projections, reports, and presentations.

• Execute financial forecasting and reconcile internal accounts.

• Conduct complex and high-level financial analyses.

• Present and review analyses with upper management.

• Generate and evaluate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, ensuring accurate financial data recording.

• Oversee multiple high-value initiatives from planning through execution and completion.

• Collaborate with project management and leadership to ensure initiatives stay on course and that goals and timelines are achieved.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

• 4+ years of experience in financial or data analysis.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level.

• Prior experience in healthcare or managed care is strongly preferred.

• Experience in supporting Medicaid, Medicare, provider contracting, provider network management, healthcare analytics, medical cost trend analysis, or reimbursement methodologies is highly desirable.

• Ability to interpret complex healthcare financial analyses.

• Experience in evaluating provider payment methodologies and fee schedules.

• Familiarity with analyzing payment discrepancies across provider types and between Medicare and Medicaid payment models.

• Ability to apply analytical outcomes to business decisions.

• Preference for candidates in the ET and CT time zones.
