Finance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Generate precise management reports, conduct cost and margin analyses, and create performance dashboards.

• Evaluate actual results against budgets and forecasts, recognizing trends, risks, and key performance indicators.

• Prepare financial commentary and convey financial insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

• Assist in the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.

• Monitor the accuracy of forecasts and highlight potential risks and opportunities.

• Execute reconciliations, validation checks, and data reviews to ensure financial precision.

• Identify and address discrepancies, escalating complex issues when necessary.

• Serve as the finance point of contact for internal stakeholders and address financial inquiries.

• Maintain precise financial data and ensure the proper handling of confidential information.

• Utilize Excel, Power BI, finance systems, and reporting tools to generate reliable financial outputs.

• Contribute to enhancing reporting processes, financial models, templates, and analytical methods.

• Assist in leveraging AI and digital tools to optimize finance processes and reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Management Accounting, or Financial Analysis.

• Solid understanding of management accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Experience in preparing financial reports and analyzing financial performance.

• Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliations.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, along with experience in Power BI and PowerPoint.

• Experience with finance systems and reporting tools.

• Strong communication skills and adeptness in stakeholder management.

• Capability to clearly explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.

• Proficient in managing confidential and sensitive financial data in accordance with GDPR and internal policies.

• Fluent in English.
