Finance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee reports for internal teams and executives regarding employee data.

• Partner with IT for systems integration to gather and analyze data effectively.

• Present data visually through graphs, infographics, and various other methods.

• Set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of business decisions.

• Organize extensive data sets to uncover actionable insights.

• Create and implement control procedures to ensure the accuracy of HR data.

• Collaborate with business leaders to pinpoint areas for improvement.

• Generate presentations and reports based on insights and recommendations.

• Engage in forecasting and budgeting with inputs related to headcount and compensation.

• Develop and maintain financial models for various headcount and compensation scenarios.

• Calculate variable compensation, including sales commissions and bonuses.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, data science, data analytics, statistics, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in reporting, trend analysis, and data visualization.

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles, particularly payroll accounting.

• Familiarity with HR data structures and relevant inputs.

• Proficient in Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent time-management and organizational abilities.

• Keen attention to detail and precision.

• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and technical proficiency.
