This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.
• Collaborate in crafting sales strategies and account plans as a vital member of the core account team.
• Identify and cultivate sales opportunities while building a sales funnel to achieve business objectives.
• Utilize customer relationship management software to manage leads and prospects effectively.
• Concentrate on opportunities related to Filtration Consumables, single-use designs, associated technologies, and equipment within the designated territory.
• Offer product knowledge to Account Managers throughout the sales process and proactively identify opportunities.
• Develop sales solutions for modality processes within the assigned territory.
• Build enduring technical relationships with customers.
• Deliver technical expertise in pre-sales discussions, instrument demonstrations, customer training, post-sales support, seminars, tenders/quotes, and promotional events.
• Steer technical and process-related conversations with customer Subject Matter Experts.
• Provide application support, resolve issues, and address complex technical and application-related inquiries from customers.
• A Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a relevant discipline.
• Over 2 years of practical experience in filtration and downstream processing is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong problem-solving abilities applicable to customer processes.
• Proficient in data analysis for performance and sales trend reporting.
• Willingness to travel 20%, including overnight stays, within the territory or to various locations.
• A valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Capability to lift, move, or carry equipment weighing up to 35 lb.
• Experience in GMP manufacturing is advantageous.
• Knowledge of process development and clinical workflow is a plus.
• Experience in commercial sales processes, particularly in the biotechnology sector, is beneficial.
• Familiarity with cross-selling, upselling, value positioning, and funnel management is a plus.
