This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide clinical and technical training, soft skill coaching, and educational programs that align with the global training strategy.
• Lead and support both live and remote training sessions for internal and external audiences on WiSE System therapy.
• Create, improve, and refine training materials, curriculum, and certification pathways.
• Manage onboarding and skill enhancement for field operations staff, Field Clinical Specialists, and sales representatives.
• Conduct assessments of knowledge and skills, leading to certification or recommendations for ongoing training, remediation, or certification.
• Offer training to physicians, clinical specialists, and commercial teams through in-person procedural case support, virtual training, and organized educational sessions.
• Facilitate physician proctoring and provide live procedural instruction.
• Participate in WiSE System implants, device follow-ups, and clinical investigations as a technical and clinical subject matter expert.
• Supervise and mentor field operations personnel during procedures.
• Collaborate with teams in clinical, marketing, sales, medical affairs, regulatory, quality, and R&D.
• Evaluate and improve training programs using performance metrics, trainee feedback, and current clinical best practices.
• Mentor Field Clinical Specialists and other training staff.
• Aid the Director of Training in creating scalable learning materials alongside the Training Program Manager.
• Assist in physician education initiatives, hands-on cadaver labs, and KOL training events.
• Provide field insights to inform product development, clinical trial protocols, and future training strategies.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, workshops, and professional education forums.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biomedical engineering, nursing, or a related field (or equivalent clinical experience).
• At least 7 years of experience in the medical device industry, particularly in Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) and/or Electrophysiology (EP).
• Strong experience supporting implantable device procedures, especially those needing surgical techniques like EV ICD.
• Experience in managing or mentoring field team personnel.
• Proficient in group presentations and hands-on experience with Cardiac Rhythm Management products.
• Previous experience in developing training curriculum and executing structured onboarding programs (preferred).
• Background in supporting commercial launches of innovative implantable cardiac devices with knowledge of abdominal surgery techniques (preferred).
• Familiarity with FDA-regulated training materials and industry-standard educational practices (preferred).
• Profound understanding of cardiac medical devices, surgical procedures for implants, and cardiac device therapy strategies.
• Capability to design and manage multi-modal learning solutions, including cadaver and animal labs, digital learning, and LMS-driven pathways.
• Excellent collaboration skills with sales, clinical, marketing, regulatory, and R&D teams.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Comfortable utilizing training metrics and performance analytics.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities and new technology launches.
• Willingness and capacity to travel approximately 60% of the time, including overnight and occasional weekend travel.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
